The weather has been beautiful lately hasn't it? Already been to boots to get some factor 30 suncream, or maybe to New Look to get that sun hat you've had your eye on? Well you can pack them away my friend, as UK temperature's are set to be dropping back to the standard, and rain and thunderstorms will be emerging throughout the rest of this week! Just awesome.
The sun won't be totally hiding from us though, we'll still get some sunny spells. It's amusing how, in Britain, the past few days have been called a "heatwave" when, in so many other countries, it's what their typical weather looks like. No frantic running to the beach to catch some rays.
However, while us Brits have been basking in and desperately lapping up the sunshine, it's important to remember that animals and pets can struggle during heatwaves, and plants often suffer. Make sure to take great care of both by following the advice in the links above if we do get any more bouts of warmth!
Remember to give your pets lots of water and shade. And leave fresh water out for street animals! #heatwave#heatwaveuk#heatstroke#dogspic.twitter.com/Y2tbPqwFeV
