Directed by Bradley Cooper, a new film has been released called "A Star is Born", and the trailer looks promising.
In the movie, Cooper plays a country music singer who locates an unknown talent, played by no other than the glorious Lady Gaga, whose prospective star quality and voice enchants him.
From what the trailer suggests, what comes after is fame, and intense relationship, and the problems that come with each.
This is to be Lady Gaga's first ever major role in a major Hollywood movie. It';; be the third revamp of the film that formerly starred Frederic March and Janet Gaynor (in 1937), Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand (in a 1976 motion picture).
Starring beside Lady Gaga and Cooper in the new version will be Dave Chappelle, Andrew Dice Clay and Sam Elliott.
Gaga wrote a range of original songs for the movie with other artists and Cooper, including Mark Ronson, Lukas Nelson and Jason Isbell, the studio remarked. The movie is to be released on the 5th October 2018.
Stripped down of all her eccentric costume and make-up and costume in this movie, it seems as though we will be served with a side of Gaga that we've never seen before -- Gaga as an everyday, understated, regular girl. Something that may come as a shock, but that will also be refreshing for fans.
Over the years, Gaga has established a reputation for herself as an artist with an inclination towards the extremities (Look back on Lady Gaga's 2009 Bad Romance or 2009 Poker Face), whether that's expressed through make-up, costume, lyrics or set design.
In his interview with Ellen, Cooper took a humble stance in regards to the upcoming 'A Star is Born' movie of which he has both directed and is starring in.
From smouldering Phil in 'The Hangover' (2009) to his intense performance as Chris Kyle in 'American Sniper' (2014), Cooper hasn't failed to impress us yet and so, naturally, we've got rather high expectations for this upcoming motion picture.
Will it break the box office? It has potential.
