Miss Woods is coming back to the big screen this Valentine’s Day 2020, it was announced by MGM.
Once again, Reese Witherspoon will be starring as the sorority girl-turned-lawyer in the upcoming “Legally Blonde 3.” Not only will she be picking up the bubbly blonde character for another round, but she will be producing the movie too. Marc Platt, the "Legally Blonde" producer and his Platt Production president, Adam Siegel, will be producing too.
With the original "Legally blonde" being a major success for MGM, grossing $141.8 million across the globe, this sequel may have big things in store at the box office. The film watched the life of an upbeat sorority sister trying to get her ex-boyfriend back by getting a law degree from Harvard, whilst staying shamelessly upbeat and head-to-toe in pink. “Legally Blonde”also starred Selma Blair, Matthew Davis, Luke Wilson, Jennifer Coolridge, Victor Garber and a Chihuahua called Bruiser.
MGM's follow-up,“Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde,” set in Washington, D.C, in 2013, grossed a whopping $124.9 million at the worldwide box office.😱
Initial “Legally Blonde 3” reports stated that Witherspoon was in talks, and the actress verified her participation on Thursday with an Instagram post of a mini-video of herself floating in a pool in a pink bikini, with the comment “It’s true… #LegallyBlonde3.”
