For the latest single of the band, “Girls Like You” which features Cardi B, Levine sings the song whilst the camera encircles him, exposing a huge line of female stars standing next to him. Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, Gal Gadot, Camila Cabello, Aly Raisman, Sarah Silverman, Tiffany Haddish, Rita Ora, Millie Bobby Brown, Mary J. Blige, Elizabeth Banks, and Ashley Graham are amidst the dozens of famous women that will star in the video, dancing and singing along to the music.
Certain women don T-shirts with statements, such as Raisman, of whom poses to expose a tee that reads “Always speak your truth,” whilst Levine grasps her hand. The gymnast at the Olympics turned into an outspoken participant in the #MeToo movement when she gave testimony against Larry Nassar, USA Gymnastic doctor, at his sentencing on criminal sexual conduct accusations.
One of the celebs to get a solo performance in the video was Cardi B, who rapped alone in the room with an ensemble of bright yellow. At the clip's ending, Levine hugs Behati Prinsloo, his wife, and his daughter, Dusty Rose, and the camera pans to reveal all the women that are included in the video united in a circle.
“Girls Like You” is to be the third single in Maroon 5’s “Red Pill Blues” album, that was released by the band in November.
